Three promises — and five ways we walk them out with every family.
Working together with our team to identify your specific needs.
We research and prepare your personalized resource packet.
We give you the power to make your own informed decisions.
Having the right information makes your journey a smoother ride.
All of this is made possible by the generous support of our community.
Bridging the Gap for Hope exists to walk alongside caregivers and families navigating life's most overwhelming seasons — connecting them to resources, support, and the hope they need to keep going.
We envision a future where communities rally around their caregivers — offering real, practical support so that caring for others doesn't mean losing yourself in the process, and where caregivers are seen, supported, and never left to figure it out alone.
No one should have to navigate life's most difficult seasons alone. Whether you're caring for an aging parent, supporting a loved one through illness or rehabilitation, or searching for community resources, our goal is to help you find the right direction with confidence — so you can spend less time searching and more time caring for the people you love.
We exist to bridge the gap between caregivers and the resources they need most — empowering them with support, guidance, and hope every step of the way.
Small support, a brighter tomorrow. Your monthly gift helps us walk alongside caregivers when they need it most.

Bridging the Gap for Hope was founded by Donna Lawing, who knows firsthand how overwhelming it is to care for a loved one while trying to find the right resources at the right time. After 16 years of caregiving and navigating the systems — and still navigating them today — she built BTG4Hope to walk alongside caregivers and families, researching and assembling personalized resource packets so no one has to face life's hardest seasons alone.
Working from her home in Norfolk, Virginia, Donna started this with a simple belief: that everyone deserves a guide when they feel lost. What began as one person helping her own family has grown into an organization dedicated to helping many.
